As we cruised down "The River" in our motor boat from "Meeting House Pond" in Orleans, Cape Cod, we viewed the end of a sailboat race. The clouds had come overhead, bursting white reflections in the water. We were sure that the wind was going to pick-up, and that we'd have some heavy rain. . . but that never happened.
